Our Story
"From the age of 14-20 years old I struggled miserably with cystic, fungal, and hormonal acne. Through trying to rid myself of the acne, using harsh products, such as toothpaste, dandruff shampoo, and rubbing alcohol, I then developed severe eczema.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, seemed to help heal my skin and bring it to a flourishing state of clarity and balance.
So, a little back story, My Father is a retired physician, I grew up reading his Dermatology books simply because I was always interested in addressing my own skin issues, and this taught me about the physiology of our skin from an external and internal perspective.
I then went down a rabbit hole of research one night looking into botanical pathways of address skin concerns and crawled out of the rabbit hole on my way to my first Naturopathic Medicine class.
Through all of that, Ocean Water Facial Cleanser was born as the first product of Redefined, and as the holy grail of my acne issues. I then had to create something that cleared up my scarring, hyperpigmentation, and my uneven oil and texture balance, and then Ocean Waters' sidekick was born, Isle Berry Nectar, an Oil/Serum/SPF.
Since it worked wonders for me, I felt compelled to share it with the world."
